Le BPO inaugure cette saison orchestrale par de la musique d’inspiration américaine. Quoi de plus naturel en ces temps de mains tendues entre le nouveau et le reste du monde, que de programmer une œuvre de notre compatriote François Glorieux parmi celles de prestigieux compositeurs américains. La pianiste américaine d’origine turque Meral Güneyman ne manquera pas de nous plonger dans l’atmosphère « black » de New York à la fois enjouée, dynamique et violente, où perce la nostalgie du pays lointain.
