Who we are

The Brussels Philharmonic Orchestra (BPO) is a large orchestra based in Brussels, at the Saint-Michel Theatre. The orchestra is comprised of around one hundred talented young musicians who are recent graduates of the Conservatoire.

The mission of the BPO is to prepare these musicians for a career in a professional orchestra, enabling them to develop their own style through a challenging and varied repertoire. The result is the performance of concerts of outstanding Quality, that are in-keeping with Tradition and at the same time full of Conviviality.

The role of ambassador

You represent the BPO and strive to promote it:

• you distribute advertisements for the upcoming concerts, deliver leaflets at the exits of cultural events and post notices in strategic locations;
• you spread the word about the orchestra and encourage people to attend concerts;
• you expand our database of music-lovers and sponsorship managers in different companies, and inform us of their contact details.

Your profile

• You would you like to support a promising orchestra.
• outgoing, you are not afraid to approach people you don't know;
• you are willing to spare an hour or so of your time now and then to distribute leaflets and flyers in Brussels, Flemish Brabant and the neighbouring districts;
• sociable, you have a good network of friends and acquaintances;
• no specific training or musical qualifications.

What we offer
