Fund raising

Jean Hombert manages the BPO’s fund raising activities. Multilingual, he negotiates with both Dutch speaking and French speaking authorities and private companies in Belgium, with aim of obtaining funds for the BPO’s events.

Highly motivated, he helps too in a lot of practical problems around the activity of the orchestra.

Jean Hombert led a distinguished career in tropical forest research first and then for many years in the paper industry.

He has been a pillar of the BPO’s activity since 2004.
